Very beautiful and dramatic photos, obviously taken with much technical skill. I'd like to see them one at a time. The small B&W collage on the blog doesn't do them justice. When I click to enlarge, the whole image is bigger than the screen on a pretty good resolution MacBook Pro. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
Impressive shot. I've been trying for some lightning shots, I never realized how much time and wasted photos are needed for these types of photos. You've captured them very well in this collage. Nice job.
slinger, You really do end up shooting a lot of frames hoping that you catch something, but it's a lot of fun. Next time I will use the continuous shooting mode; I missed some good strikes between shots.
continuous shooting mode, hummm, I'll have to check into my camera and see if it has that option. Winter is approaching soon and I may have to wait until next spring to capture a decent lightning shot.
You've a great location for shooting these types of shots, I have to travel a bit to get the landscape out of the way, but I do have a location in mind.
Many of the photos posted here are taken with an infrared modified Nikon D50 digital SLR camera. The rest are taken with a Nikon D3X, D200 and a Coolpix S51c.
