Those white palm trees remind me of something...I can't place it...& it is somehow disturbing. I wonder what it can be... whenever I see them I think hard but I am not able to recollect...
Usually on our Indian coast line we have coconut trees. What kind of fruit do these trees out there bear? I was looking at them in the cat on the roof photo & they seemed like dates which is weird because dates are a desert fruit...
We have all types of native and exotic coconut and date palms in Florida. The date palms you see on Lincoln Road are desert imports. Our Florida native palms have either a scrubby non edible (for human consumption) black berry-like fruit or a coconut with a green straw-like husk that has a delicious milk.
Many of the photos posted here are taken with an infrared modified Nikon D50 digital SLR camera. The rest are taken with a Nikon D3X, D200 and a Coolpix S51c.
