High Rise Row



Next to the large crane in the back middle of the photo is the Deauville Hotel. It was there in 1964 The Beatles performed on the Ed Sullivan show for CBS.

This photo is made up of 9 exposures from 1/2 - 30 seconds each, then combined in a process called HDR (high dynamic range).

Thank you. I sent my parents a 12"x18" print of it and my Dad said he could almost see inside the hotel down the street. ;-)

Thanks, the HDR tone mapping is a very slick process to display more stops of light than a single image can.
